Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction: FIRST CLASS

This class is the first in a six week series for Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) classes, which are once again available to all UMB students. This program helps you enhance your overall health and quality of life through simple and effective stress reduction techniques taught by professional instructors, Deborah Rejent, DSW, MSSW, MA, and Catherine Kelleher, RN, MS, MPH, ScD. Learn how to use mindfulness techniques like meditation, body scans, mindful eating, and gentle yoga to manage the stresses of everyday life. Enrollment is limited and there is a $50 materials fee. To complete registration, please email Hillary Edwards at firstname.lastname@example.org and make checks payable to the University of Maryland, Baltimore. Dates of classes: Monday evenings 9/26, 10/3, 10/10, 10/17,10/24, 10/31 from 5:30-7:00 p.m. with a retreat Saturday, 11/5, from 9-2.
