How can you help me since you are not a professional in my field?
UCG consultants are experts in behavior and organizational change. We do not need to be professionals in your field to help. We work with you collaboratively to create the intended results. We do, however, need to be conversant in your profession, mission etc but this can be acquired during the initial stages of the work. By virtue of our experience we come with in-depth knowledge of how higher education, health systems, and other organizations operate. We have the experience, skills and abilities to get up to speed quickly on your business challenges and opportunities.
Is the information shared kept confidential?
At the onset of the engagement, your UCG consultant will reach agreement with you on the degree of confidentiality and anonymity that is appropriate for the work to be done. We do not discuss or share information outside the public domain without your express approval.
What is your affiliation with the University of Maryland, Baltimore?
UCG is a predominantly self-support department of the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB). UMB provides offices, meeting space and business services for UCG.
Is there a fee for using this service?
Yes, UCG is a self support operation. Our fees are set annually based on the prevailing rates of the Baltimore/Washington DC market. We understand the financial constraints of our non-profit clients and work with them to come up with a scope of work that can be accomplished within these constraints.
