Increasing self awareness
Enhancing relationships
Facilitating goal achievement.

Research substantiates that the most effective approach to leadership development is individual coaching. Coaching is a voluntary development process that: 1) takes place in a series of confidential meetings over time; 2) is built on a relationship of mutual trust and respect between the UCG consultant and client; and 3) requires a commitment to coaching from the executive and the organization to be successful.

UCG coaching services include:

  • Executive Coaching helps our clients develop an awareness of their individual behaviors and patterns; cultivate an awareness of how others perceive them; capitalize on their strengths and adopt new leadership strategies.
  • Leadership Transition Coaching helps executive clients who are at critical junctures in their careers (e.g. beginning a new role, transitioning to a new organization, or tackling a major change initiative). It provides the opportunity to talk through and plan transition strategies for an expanded or new role with an “outside” and unbiased source.
  • Conflict Coaching helps our clients develop constructive ways to address difficult situations and interactions that adversely affect them, their work and their work environment. With the support and guidance of the coach, clients learn to embrace conflict as an opportunity for learning and growth.
  • Career Coaching is a valuable tool for clients wishing to advance their career or considering a new direction. With the support and guidance of the coach, the client develops both short and long-term strategies; identifies and overcomes obstacles in long-term planning, management and advancement.
  • Team Coaching offers groups the opportunity to learn and apply the coordination, collaboration, and creative thinking needed to address complex issues. The coach works with the team as its own entity, independent of the needs of any single member, while concurrently helping individual members achieve their full potential.

Our coaching clients frequently report increased confidence; enhanced relationships and a series of leadership accomplishments that are obvious to key stakeholders (read our client’s testimonials).
