This database is a resource for students interested in participating in service-learning opportunities. The opportunities listed are not the only opportunities that are appropriate for service-learning but they already have developed a relationship with ISLSI, have an understanding of what service-learning means and what activities UMB students can utilize to complement classroom learning.
There are two ways to search:
- Alphabetically
- Search for the name of the organization, such as JACQUES Initiative
- Some organization names are listed under the letter "T" for the word "the"
- Category
- Search by duration such as, one-time, long-term or flexible.
- Search by type of organization such as, UM Student Organization, Community Organization, K-12, Economic Development, Green, etc.
